We cooked and cleaned (and cooked some more). I made homemade hummus (all natural and organic and there was none left at the end of the night!), sugar cookies (not quite all natural on those!) and a great cider recipe. Plus we had a Spanish delicacy that Lindsey loves--dates wrapped in bacon alongside a cheese, olives and crackers platter. Needless to say, the table was full of delicious goodies. And thanks to wonderful friends for bringing the wine! We had good food, good fun, good fellowship and good spirits all night long! The party started at 5 and the last guest didn't leave till 11pm.
That's all for now folks. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Remember, not to lose sight of "the reason for the season." Don't get caught up in the commercialization of Christmas. Enjoy food. Enjoy friends. Enjoy your life! xox
P.S. Sunny had a ball eating scraps off the floor and meeting new friends,
but he was tuckered out by the night's end!
