How am I? How am I doing? How am I feeling? What am I thinking? What is God showing me? Where am I going? Am I floating through life or really living Life? Am I being a good steward of my time, energy and talents? What's on my heart to share with others?
Sure I could BS my way through and just write whatever--pump out the articles; write for headliners and front page news; write about what's trending now and what will peak interest…But I find that route shallow and not fully using my talent. It's like whipping up a pot of spaghetti knowing everyone will like it, but not taking time to develop and cultivate a depth of culinary skill and variety.
I don't write what I think everyone will like or read. That's not my purpose. As I've said before:
I'd rather be loved by a few and hated by a few than liked my many.
I stumbled upon these photos today and wanted to share them with you. I hope they stimulate your mind and cause you to reflect on your Life. Enjoy!
Photos come from a magazine called Verily:
"Verily is starting a new conversation – one for those who want a fresh take on life; an honest message that relates to their experiences which is uplifting, affirming, and true."
Whereas other magazines photoshop to achieve the “ideal” body type or leave a maximum of three wrinkles, we never alter the body or face structure of our models with Photoshop. We firmly believe that the unique features of women — be it crows feet, freckles, or a less-than-rock-hard body — contribute to their beauty and therefore don’t need to be removed or changed.
